North Clear Creek Falls is a a 100+ foot waterfall in Hinsdale County, Colorado ( U.S.A,  ) , located within the Rio Grande National Forest. North Clear Creek is a tributary of the Rio Grande.
While driving along the wide flat valley near creede, it seems unusual to see a sign for a waterfall , This is one of the absolutely stunning waterfalls that seems to appear out of nowhere! It is located less than 800 m from the highway, so it is easy to stop. It can be enjoyed by everyone since it is a very short walk to the lookout from the parking lot.In the winter the falls freeze solid.
There is also South Clear Creek Waterfall located only 4 miles from North Clear Creek Waterfall.

Access : Coordinates: 37.849167, -107.150328 / Address: Highway 149, Lake City / From Creede,( The distance from Creede is 22.4 miles ) travel west for approx. 26 miles to a sign for the waterfall on the right. Turn right and travel for 1/2 mile to the Overlook.

Amenities : – Parking lots / toilets / picnic facilities / wheelchair-accessible trail to the top of a nearby bluff / Overlook facility / Camping , several campgrounds in Rio Grande National Forest along Colorado 149, one near South Fork and the rest west of Creede.
