Panglao is an island in the Bohol Sea, located in the Central Visayas region of the Visayas island group, in the south-central Philippines.
Located near the island of Bohol opposite the city of Tagbilaran, Panglao Island was known to Chinese, Malay, Thai, and Indonesian trade ships. It is connected to Bohol by two bridges. There is also an international airport here.
