Praia do Coqueiro or Coqueiro beach is a dream beach 10 km from the center of Luis correia ( Luis Correia is a municipality in northeastern Brazil, located in the north of the state of Piaui. It is one of the four coastal municipalities of Piaui, and also one of the most visited by tourists and swimmers throughout the year.)
It presents beautiful landscapes dominated by coconut trees, and where is located a fishing village. It has calm winds and a distance of 10.7km east of the city center.Quiet small-wave beach is much sought after by kite surfers for having strong winds all year round.
The beach has a barrier reef in part of its length that is only visible during low tide, forming natural pools of transparent waters.
Access : Coordinates: -2.903351, -41.574846 / The access is by the BR-343 until Luis Correia and from there to the beach is made by PI-315, highway that is in excellent condition.
