The Chureito Pagoda pagoda located within Arakuyama Sengen Park ,in Fujiyoshida, a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
Chureito is a five-story pagoda that was built in 1962 and is a symbol of the city. The height is 19.5 meters. It was designed with reference to the five-storied pagoda at Shitennoji in Osaka, and was built over three years starting in 1959.
