The Urban Park of the Palmenti is a small place with the typical configuration of large medieval settlements and fortifications.Located on the outskirts of the town of Pietragalla, a town and comune in the province of Potenza, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata.

This park is the site where still today the grapes are vinified, which are poured from the upper part of the millstone. The park consists of about 200 millstones that were used for the production of wine. Despite several structures being ruined, it is still a magical place. The structures are underground caves carved into the sandstone. It looks like a hobbit village..
