Sumartin is a coastal village on the east of the island of Brač , a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea.

Sumartin is a coastal village on the east of the island of Brač , a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea.

Sumartin is a settlement in the bay of the same name on the southwest coast of the island ,there are several sandy bays near the settlement (Rasotica, Žukovik, Radovnja, Studena, Zvirje and Spilice). Sumartin is connected to mainland  particularly with Makarska by ferry.
In the village there is a Franciscan monastery and the church  of Saint Marcin. The monastery, which is also a museum, contains numerous paintings, including: the baroque “Last Supper” from the second half of the 17th century and documents from 1665–1755 written in Bosnian Cyrillic.
