Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Hurghada also in Egypt are ranked as the two cheapest luxury holiday destinations in the world, according to a top search engine report Skyscanner. In particular, the two cities have an average cost of overnight stays of 106 and 122 us dollars in five-star hotels, respectively. Kuala Lumpur is the third largest city in Kuala Lumpur, followed by Sofia and the Emirate of Sharjah, the third most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, with an average cost of overnight accommodation of 132 and 135 euros respectively.
Krakow is completing the top ten, with the average cost of the five-night stay reaching 153 euros, Cyprus Larnaca (154 euros), Warsaw and New Delhi at 159 euros and finally Ho Chi Minh City, former Saigon capital of southern Vietnam until in 1975 with an average overnight stay at a five-star hotel of 160 euros.
