The Momi Battery Historical Park is about a 45-minute drive from Nadi , a city on Fiji’s main island in The South Pacific.
Construction of the Momi Bay Battery began in May 1940 at the select top hill area overlooked the Navula Passage with primal objective to prevent a Japanese invasion of the island and equipped with 6-inch naval guns.
In 2017 the whole emplacement was restored and is now a museum, The Momi Bay Battery Historical Park offers insight into the military events that took place several years ago on the site of the existing park. The entire area of the attraction is planted with reeds and equipped with several benches and souvenir shops.
A place full of history with fabulous spots to visit and take wonderful scenic photos with spectacular views out over Momi Bay and the Mamanuca Islands.
