Saint George’s is a coastal town on Saint George’s Island in the northeast of the Bermuda archipelago, in the British overseas territory of Bermuda.
This picturesque coastal town dates back to the early 17th century and has largely retained its old appearance and may seem like an open-air museum for tourists, but at the same time it is definitely a lively city. The historic houses are inhabited and house restaurants, bars and shops. In the city center is King’s Square with the town hall and the visitors’ office. The city and its surrounding fortifications from the 17th to 20th centuries are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
