Highlights :
- At the northern end of Coronado Beach there is a separate area for surfers in which swimming is prohibited.
- There are three ways to get to Coronado from San Diego: via the Coronado Bridge, via Silver Strand Blvd from south San Diego, or by ferry from the San Diego Marina.
- Near the beach there is a first-class Victorian-style hotel, an architectural monument – an iconic tourist destination the Hotel Del Coronado (1887).
