Faial da Terra is a village in the municipality of Povoasão on the island of São Miguel, in the archipelago of the Azores , Portugal.
The small town located on the southeastern coast of the island near the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The city is surrounded by the Nordeste mountain range with the peak of Pico da Vara, the highest point of the island. The village has a bust of Father Elias, mills, observation decks and an old whaling port , Artisans are engaged in basket weaving, embroidery, needlework and wooden artifacts.
