The Kalta Minor Minaret is a memorial minaret in the Old City district, better known as Ichan Qalʼа in the town of Khiva in Uzbekistan.

The tower is an unfinished minaret, which is where the name comes from, which means “small minaret” or “short minaret”. It stands in front of the Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasa and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kalta Minor is decorated with tiles using blue, turquoise and white colors. It is also called “Kokminor” because turquoise tiles are used a lot. It is considered a landmark of the city. According to legend, It is said that the construction of Kalta minor started in 1852 with the aim of becoming the “biggest tower in the region”, but after the death of Muhammad Amin Khan, who built the tower, the construction was left unfinished at a height of 26 meters.
