McWay Falls is a 24-meter-high waterfall in Julia Pfeifer Burns State Park,in the coastal region of Big Sur, in Monterey County, California, U.S.A.

The waterfall is considered to be the mouth of the McWay Creek. In the past, the waterfall always came directly into the ocean, but minor landslides in 1983 and 1985 created a small, enclosed sandy beach here, causing the water to fall directly into the ocean only during high tide.
The waterfall can only be seen from above from the mainland due to the steep rock walls, but anyone who arrives here by boat can easily get to the waterfall.
