Montmartre is a 130-meter-high hill located on the right bank of the River Seine, in the 18th District of Paris – France, mainly known for the white dome of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica , located at its summit.
better known as the painters’ neighborhood. Here you will see small, steep streets that make it one of the most peculiar neighborhoods in Paris. It is also known for the number of bars and cabarets, such as the Moulin Rouge where a large number of tourists meet for the shows that take place every night.

  •  Basilique du Sacré-Cœur  – The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris ,( 48.886694, 2.343 ) The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre, is an important religious temple located in Paris (France). It is located on the top of the hill of Montmartre.
    It is a minor basilica dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Its construction was decided by the National Assembly in 1873, as a perpetual religious building in homage to the memory of the many French citizens who had lost their lives during the Franco-Prussian War.The floor of the building is more central than basilical. It has the shape of a Greek cross, adorned with four domes: the central dome, 80 m. high, it is touched by a flashlight, formed by a colonnade.
