- One of the best lookout points towards the mountain is at Grandview Terrace above the museum.
- The Lincoln Borglum Museum is within the grounds of the memorial. It features two 125-seat theaters showing a 1-minute film about Mount Rushmore.
- The Presidential Trail, a walkway and promenade, starts at Grandview Terrace and winds its way through the yellow-pine forests to the Sculptor’s Studio, which exhibits close-ups of the memorial.
- The Sculptor’s Studio was built by Gutzon Borglum and exhibits an explanation of the behavior of the memorial as well as the tools used.
- There is also an information center on site, where you can find out details about the objects of the memorial and their opening hours.
There is no fee for visiting the sight itself, but you have to pay for parking a car or motorcycle, its full cost is $ 10, for pensioners – $ 5. The paid document is valid for a year.
