Mostraumen Channel is part of the Mofjorden , a fjord in Modalen municipality in Vestland , in Western Norway.
The canal connects Romarheimsfjorden and Mofjorden near the village of Mo north of Bergen .Mostraumen is an approximately 600 meter long and narrow channel through the farm Bøen between Mofjorden and Romarheimsfjorden and is 50-60 meters at its narrowest.
The narrow Mostraumen is a unique attraction in Norway and today has become a popular place to visit on one-day fjord cruises..
