Árbol de Piedra (Stone Tree) is a volcanic rock formation found in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve in Bolivia.
A much photographed subject, it is located among the sand dunes of the Siloli desert, at the entrance to the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve – one of the protected areas with the greatest tourist influx in Bolivia , in the department of Potosí, about 18 km north of Laguna Colorada. It is called this because it has the shape of a small tree, formed by wind erosion on the rock.
