The Phare du Petit Minou is a lighthouse in the roadstead of Brest (, Plouzané is a commune in the Finistere department of Brittany in north-western France

Standing in front of the Fort du Petit Minou, in the commune of Plouzane. By aligning it with the phare du Portzic, it shows the safe route to follow for ships to enter the roadstead. It also has a red signal that indicates a dangerous sector around the plateau of les Fillettes (literally the girls), one of the submerged rocks in the goulet of Brest — sailors remember this by using the mnemonic “the Minou blushes when he covers les Fillettes”.

Description : Its cylindrical tower masonry stone is attached to a cylindrical building. The Lighthouse of Petit Minou forms an alignment with the lighthouse of Portzic and indicates the road to enter Brest harbor. The lighthouse is connected to the land by a bridge. The Petit Minou lighthouse is an example of the combination of the Kersanton stone with the pink granite of the Aber Ildut: the basement, consisting of two rows of Kersanton, the outer facing of the tower, mainly pink granite except a Kersanton gray cord (surmounting the first six pink granite beds) and the Kersanton crown. The stairs of the tower are also in Kersanton, as well as the lining of the inner wall and the vault under the lantern.
