Lost Lake is a lake on the north Kenai Peninsula in the Chugach Mountains in South-central U.S. state of Alaska.
Lost Lake located 11 miles north of the town of the Seward in the Chugach National Forest. The lake is drained by Lost Creek. Its water flows via Salmon Creek and the Resurrection River into Resurrection Bay, a bay in the Gulf of Alaska.
The backcountry area offers Theoretically two trails : The Lost Lake Trail starts in the south, the Primrose Trail in the north. The Lost Lake Trail Hike consists one of the most scenic trails on the Kenai Peninsula. The secluded Lost Lake, surrounded by meadows and pristine nature is a popular hiking , biking, and skiing destination high in the mountains of the Kenai Peninsula.
