The Kannesteinen is an unusual mushroom-shaped rock on the shore in the village of Oppedal on the west side of Vågsøy, in , Vestland Norway.
The stone is about 4-5 meters high and it was created by the influence of sea waves over many thousands of years. In recent years, it has been arranged for better access for spectators, a gravel path leads to a wooden platform that gives a good angle to the phenomenon. The path and terrace have a wheelchair-friendly design. Kannesteinen is a popular photo motif and a symbol for Vågsøy municipality.
