The Eibsee is a lake located 100 km southwest of Munich, in the commune of Grainau in Bavaria, Germany. It is located at the foot of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany.

The Eibsee can be reached by bus from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There is a scenic path (7.5 km long) around the lake, there are also beaches and a pedal boat and boat rental. The fishing season lasts from May to October. The hotel and the cable car to the Zugspitze can be found nearby.
