Never. No tourism board, hotel, tour operator or any other commercial entity has paid to appear in a Wanders article or Field Guide. Every destination is included because the editorial team considers it genuinely extraordinary. That is not a policy we added recently — it has been the founding principle of The Wanders since 2019.
