Ulsan is a city in southeastern South Korea. The city is located on the Sea of Japan, about 70 kilometers northeast of Busan. There are 962,931 people living in the city itself, and there are 1,105,823 in the entire city province, which also includes a district. Ulsan is a university town with Ulsan University and is politically independent of Gyeongsangnam-do Province, where it is located.
The city is the heart of the industrial zone of the same name, which also houses the international Hyundai Group. Until 1962 Ulsan was mainly a seaport and a marketplace for fishery products.According to a report by Reuters, Ulsan is the city in South Korea with the highest per capita income.
The urban area is divided into four districts (Gu) and a district (Gun). These are: Buk-gu , Dong-gu ,Jung-gu ,Nam-gu , Ulju-gun

Access : Coordinates: 35.55, 129.316667 / By Plane : There is no international flight with Ulsan, it is only possible to reach the city via domestic flights from two destinations – Seoul (Gimpo) and Jeju-do./
By car : From Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu, take the Gyeongbu Expressway towards Busan and exit at Eonyang junction./
By bus : From Seoul – It takes about 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic. The express bus runs from the Express Bus Terminal in Seocho-Gu in Seoul to Ulsan with departures about once every 30 minutes. There also is an intercity bus running from the Dong-Seoul bus terminal once every 30 to 40 minutes to the Intercity Bus Temerminal in Samsan Dong in Ulsan, as well as two departures a day from the same terminal to the Bangeojin terminal.
By boat :Port of Busan : International Passenger Terminal, Cruise Terminal and Coastal Ferry Terminal , conection with Fukuoka in Japan.
