The Ploumanac’h lighthouse, is a building made of pink granite, which indicates the entrance to the pass leading to the port of Ploumanac’h, in the commune of Perros-Guirec in the department of Cotes -Armor, in Brittany ( France

At the end of a small bridge, perched on a huge block of pink granite, it integrates perfectly with the landscape.is particularly very popular among photographers. The first lighthouse of Ploumanac’h dates from 1860. Destroyed by the German troops on August 4, 1944, it was replaced by the current lighthouse in 1946 (first ignition in October 1948).
From the lighthouse, there is a direct view of the castle of Costaeres, the island Renote and the archipelago of Sept-Iles.The lighthouse derives its usual name from the nearby village of Ploumanac’h meaning in French the parish of the monks. The official name is the  Lighthouse Mean Ruz.

The lighthouse is closed to the public.
Access : Coordinates: 48.8375, -3.483333 / Location : Perros-guirec (22700) – Cotes d’Armor – Ploumanac’h / There is an airport and a station in the town of Lannion, about ten kilometers from the site. You will also find there a car rental agency. In Perros-Guirec and Tregastel taxis offer their service. The best thing is to walk to Ploumanac’h,
To access it: From the parking of the beach of St Guirec, just follow this beach and follow the marked path.
