Zlatni Rat (Golden horn -Golden cape) is a “triangle” shaped beach that has trees in its middle. located 2 km west of the port of Bol, on the south coast of the Croatian island of Brač. The island of Brač is one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic coast.
The shape of the beach changes with variations in tides, currents and wind, turning towards the sea with 634 m long.Zlatni Rat is one most recognizable sight of Bol. definitely the most common motif on postcards from Croatia.one of the symbols of Croatian tourism.
It was formed by depositing a fine golden gravel around the undersea ridge, extending like a tongue and up to 500 m into the sea.
This area is otherwise a protected natural area and The promontory is protected as a geomorphological phenomenon…. and a favorite site of surfers and kite-surfers from all over the world.

In the summer months, a small tourist train, as well as tourist boats departing from the port of Bol, Ride is fun along the coast and takes 10-15 minutes. It costs 2,5 EUR one way./ there is large parking lot cost is 70 kuna /9 EUR.
