Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, USA

Known for its distinctive black and white spiral design, it was built in 1870 to warn sailors of the dangerous Diamond Shoals. Peggy’s Point Lighthouse, Canada

Built in 1941, this remote lighthouse is steeped in Maori legend and is considered a spiritual place.
