The island of Lošinj is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea.
Lošinj Island is located in Kvarner Bay , south of it are the islands of Middle Dalmatia, from which it is separated by the Kvarner Gate Strait.
The island, rich in flowers and pine trees, is one of the sunniest places in Europe. The main town on the island is called Mali Lošinj (Little Lošinj). Veli Lošinj (Greater Lošinj), despite the name the smaller town, is a health resort. Other places are: Nerezine, Sv. Jakov and Ćunski.

- The famous ancient statue of the so-called Croatian Apoxyomenos was found in front of Lošinj, The Apoxyomenos type was first created by the Greek sculptor Lysippus in the 4th century BC.
