Manikaran is a small town in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh,a state in the northern part of India ,in the Western Himalayas.

Manikaran is a small town in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, a state in the northern part of India ,in the Western Himalayas.

Manikaran is located in a valley between two rivers, the Parvati and the Beas, northeast of Bhuntar. It lies at an altitude of 1,760 m, approximately 45 km from Kullu town.
This small town is a pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Sikhs. According to Hindu tradition, it is from this place that Manu regenerated the human species after the flood, making Manikaran a sacred place.

Manikaran It is home to numerous temples venerating Rāma, Krishna and Vishnu, as well as a gurdwârâ ,  The hot springs are the most astonishing and distinctive attraction of Manikaran. Every year many people enjoy the exciting experience of traveling to Manikarna.
