The Waterfall Reef Located off the coast of Cygnet Bay in the Dampier Peninsula , a peninsula located north of Broome and Roebuck Bay in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The Horizontal Falls , despite their name, are not actually waterfalls , but rather an extraordinary tidal phenomenon , a reef with a cascading waterfall on outgoing tides, Together with the flow effects creates the impression of a waterfall. This spectacle is only visible on certain tides on certain days, of the year. There are companies in the area that provide services such as island tours and sea safaris.
