Playa Maderas is a beach on the Pacific coast , north of San Juan del Sur in south western Nicaragua.
Playa Maderas is a wide strip of sand, protected on the mainland side by jungle and abutting a rock formation in the north. This is one of the most attractive beaches for surf lovers, since good and constant waves form here to practice this sport, and you can find some accommodation options ,there is a small camping service that also offers food. In this area you can also see several well-equipped houses, in the middle of a small dry tropical forest.
Maderas Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the surfing world thanks to the constant Pacific waves.
