Vrboska is a picturesque village in Croatia, in the Split-Dalmatian County, in the municipality of Jelsa. It is situated on the north coast of the island of Hvar.

Today’s settlement dates back to the Middle Ages, in the 15th century at the latest. The oldest building in the village is the church of St. Peter, which was built before the 14th century at the crossroads of the historic areas of Pitava and Vrbanja.
Vrbosca is divided into two parts: Podva, in Renaissance-Baroque style with a series of stone houses along the coast, and the square with churches, alleys, the remains of the town loggia and houses with Gothic and Renaissance features .Vrboska sometimes referred to as “Little Venice”.
Vrboska is a famous tourist spot. Accommodation facilities include hotels, family pensions, apartments and a nudist camp, and the offer includes restaurants and bars, sports and recreational facilities  and cultural and entertainment events. Also, during the tourist season, daily trips are organized to Bol on Brač, Makarska and on the island of Hvar.
