Colored Canyon is a canyon located in the southeast of the Sinai Peninsula, on the Et-Tih plateau in the Sinai Mountains, northwest of the city of Nuweiba , Egypt.
The multi-colored canyon is located in the Sinai Mountains, 150 kilometers from Sharm el-Sheikh.The length of the Colored Canyon is 5 kilometers, height – 25-30 meters, width – from 2 to 10 meters.The canyon, which usually dries out throughout the year, is flooded with water. The water then flows into the wadi (dry river) Wadi Watir.
The canyon is Currently one of the tourist attractions of the Sinai Peninsula, some rocks in the gorge shifted and became unstable, therefore, for the safety of tourists, a guide is required.
