Moray is an Inca archaeological site located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas of the Andes ,in Peru.
The Inca complex Moray is a complex consisting of several terraces at different heights. The site is made up of terraces – retaining walls, fertile soil and a complex system of irrigation canals, allowing the cultivation of more than 250 species of plants.
During the month of September, around a hundred residents from neighboring towns gather at the circular rings of Moray to celebrate Moray Raymi or Sun Festival. The festivals present popular dances in relation to the land, production and work in the fields.
