Damnoen Saduak Floating Market has a narrow, maze-like canal and vendors, often dressed in pots and sampans, board sampan boats to sell their wares. These boats are filled with fruits and vegetables. colorful wood and these images are often used to support tourism.The market is usually busiest in the morning from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and continues until noon. Service available all day every day.
This market has been shown in a number of films, such as the canal chase scene in 007 The Golden Gun Executioner in which Roger Moore plays James Bond and the Hero, Assassin, Across the World, starring Nicolas Cage. Often the boats in the market are full of fruit and vegetables, making them very colorful and photogenic, so much so that they are used for advertising.

  • The floating market has 3 small markets: Ton Khem, Hia Kui and Khun Phithak Ton Khem is the largest market in the Damnoen Saduak Canal. Hia Kui is located across the street. of the canal and there are souvenir shops along the canal to sell goods to large tourist groups. Khun Phithak, about 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) south of Hia Kui, is the least crowded market and is the smallest.
  • The market is also a place to sell handicrafts and souvenirs. From Thai masks, boxing statues or wooden elephants, ready-made clothes or processed products.
