Dildo is a fishing and tourist town on the island of Newfoundland, part of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The settlement of Dildo was founded at the end of the 18th century or at the very beginning of the 19th century. Its inhabitants began developing the marine resources of Trinity Bay: they caught cod, pinnipeds, and killed whales that came into the bay.
