The Fairy Pools are a series of natural pools of different sizes in vivid aqua blue, connected by a small stream and small waterfalls in the valley of Glen Brittle , Glen Brittle  is a large glen in the south of the Isle of Skye, in Scotland, United Kingdom.

The surrounding area is mostly rocky and is dotted with a few marshy areas.,The clear and cold water cascades down from the Black Cuillin mountains,It is also transparent but there are blue reflections. The Fairy Pools are a popular destination for tourism. There is a car park on the Carbost to Glen Brittle road with a signposted trail to the Fairy Pools.

Access : Coordinates: 57.25, -6.2565 / The area located about a 20-minute walk  from the Glen Brittle car park.

Highlights :

  • Around the Fairy Pools are animals such as the red deer, the golden eagle, and  the gray heron.
  • These basins were little known but quickly became popular, attracting a large number of walkers, the latter having doubled between 2015 and 2019.
  • The location of the Fairy Pools is in the site of the Battle of Coire Na Creiche.The Battle of Coire na Creiche (Battle of Benquhillan) was a Scottish clan battle fought on the Isle of Skye in 1601.
