Lake Karagöl also known as the "Black Lake," located in the northwest of the Karçal Mountains ,a mountain range in the northeastern tip of Turkey.

Lake Karagöl also known as the “Black Lake,” located in the northwest of the Karçal Mountains ,a mountain range in the northeastern tip of Turkey.

Karagöl  – Black Lake actually Consisting of two lakes, one large and the other small, is located between 1450-1480 m above sea level.
The lake is part of the Karagöl Nature Park and has a significant potential for various tourism activities, especially eco-tourism, the scenic area hosts many bird species in September because it is located on the migration route.
Currently this picturesque place is flocked by nature lovers and photographers.

  • Camping : Karagöl is indispensable for campers, but let us point out that you cannot pitch your tent on the lake shore . There is a different section reserved for campers.
