The Prinsengracht , Also known as ‘Prince’s Canal’ is a 3.2-km-long canal in the center of Amsterdam , the capital of the Netherlands.

Its name commemorates Prince William of Orange. The canal and the buildings along it are protected by their inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. On the banks of the canal are residential buildings, warehouses, shops , cafes , luxurious hotels , art gallery’s, etc.  also  several houseboats are anchored. Most of the buildings on the banks of the canal were built during the Dutch Golden Age of the 17th century , the most notable  are the Noorderkerk, the Westerkerk and the Anne Frank House.
Amsterdam is famous for its picturesque canals  and the Prince’s Canal is possibly one of the most photographed in the city ,the perfect place for a photo session.
