Badolato is a medieval village in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria , a region in Southern Italy.
Badolato located on a hill between two rivers, the Gallipari torrent to the north and the Ponzo torrent to the south and 50 km south of Catanzaro on the eastern slope of the Serre.
There are remains of a castle wall in the village ,there are frescoes in the church of S. Isidoro. Works of art from the 15th and 16th centuries can be found in the Reformed Church.
currently Badolato is part of the Association I Borghi più belli d’Italia (“The most beautiful villages of Italy”).
