Route 28E is one of the six railway routes of Carris, an urban public transport company in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.
The tram, which is equipped with tracks with a gauge of 900 millimeters, is particularly popular with tourists because of its partly historic fleet of vehicles and the attractive route with steep sections and tight curves through the narrow streets of Lisbon’s old town.
The “famous Line 28” is now considered one of the most famous sights in the Portuguese capital and a ride on it is a “must” of a visit.
Yellow Trams decently consists one of the most photogenic things in Lisbon and one top 10 most Instagrammable spots on the continent.
