Ponte Maria Callas is a bridge nearby to Corte Michiel and the bridge Ponte Storto in Venice, Northeast Italy.
The Ponte Maria Callas is the only bridge named after a singer. Maria Callas performed many times in the adjacent Teatro La Fenice between 1947 and 1954 and was given the special honor of being named godmother.
There is generally little boat traffic in this area, but it is an even more popular gondola route.
The bridge looks suitably elegant and has been renovated in white stone with molded stone balustrades ,moreover a beautiful backdrop to every photo.
