Prohodna  is a karst cave in north-central Bulgaria,  located in the Iskar gorge near the village of Karlukovo in the Lukovit municipality, Lovech Province.
The Prohodna Cave has already been used by prehistoric people, and remains of Neolithic have been found here by archaeologists. The natural tunnel may have been a cult place in ancient times. Interestingly, during the spring equinox, the sun’s rays penetrate quite deeply into the flight. During World War II, during the bombings, residents of the area often flocked here. A bungee jumping point was established at the larger cave entrance.
The cave is known for the two holes in the ceiling that resemble eyes, known as the Eyes of God or Oknata.  The Prohodna Karst Cave is a natural rock bridge 262 meters long. It has two entrances: Big and Small, and the height of their vaults is respectively 45 m and 35 m. The interior of the Prohodna cave is also used for bungee jumping.
Prohodna Cave is one of the most famous caves in Bulgaria, This is the highest cave in Bulgaria. Inside the cave there is a trail for tourists, as well as sports routes of varying difficulty. In 1962 the cave was given the status of a natural landmark. Several Bulgarian and foreign films were filmed here.The cave house and the Prohodna cave are included in the top list of the country’s attractions – the so-called. list of 100 national tourist sites.

Access : Coordinates: 43.175833, 24.073056 / is located 112 km from the city of Sofia , 2 km from the village of Karlukovo in the Iskar Valley and is part of the Iskar-Panega Geopark.You can get to the Cave House by turning off the Lukovit – Karlukovo road.
