Tobermory is the capital of the Isle of Mull, an island in the Inner Hebrides off the northwest coast of Scotland.
Tobermory is located on the north-eastern tip of the Isle of Mull and overlooks the Sound of Mull, the strait that separates the island from the mainland.
The colorful row of houses in the harbor of Tobermory is the setting for the well-known British children’s series about the fictional town of Balamory. A whiskey distillery with a visitor center can be visited in Tobermory. Nearby are the Achnacreebeag Cairn and the Balliscate Stone Range.
