Chichilianne is a mid mountain village in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France.
This mid-mountain village is nestled at the foot of Mont Aiguille (one of the seven wonders of Dauphiné).
This village allows you to see many small houses typical of Trièves, as well as two castles from the 14th – 15th centuries: the Château de Ruthière and the Château de Passières.
Chichilianne is located about 42 kilometers south-southwest of Grenoble , is the starting point or a stopover for many hikes, particularly around Mont Aiguille, or for roaming in the Vercors High Plateaux Nature Reserve.In winter, Chichilianne also offers a Nordic area with many activities: cross-country skiing, skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing, etc.
