La playa de las Catedrales is a beach in the municipality of Ribadeo ,province of Lugo , on the Cantabrian Sea in Galicia, Spain.
The Playa de las Catedrales is characterized by the formation of arches and caves, only accessible on foot at low tide. At high tide the beach is relatively short, has fine sand and is suitable for swimming. It is interesting to contemplate the beach at high tide by walking along the upper part of the cliffs from west to east towards Playa de Esteiro.
The upper part of the cliff has been equipped with large parking lots, viewpoints allowing you to enjoy magnificent views and long wooden footbridges all along the beach.
This is probably one of the corners that has become the most viral on social networks in recent years.
