Şirnea is a village in Fundata commune in Brașov county, Transylvania, Romania.
Șirnea is located in the extreme southeast of Transylvania , on the eastern side of the Piatra Craiului Mountains , about ten kilometers southwest of Bran Castle.
In Șirnea there is a village museum with objects and products from the region. The place is also the starting point for hikes in the Piatra Craiului mountains.
The village of Şirnea (Brasov), along with 13 other localities, was declared, experimentally, a village of tourist interest called “tourist village”.
