Supraśl is a picturesque small town in the Białystok County of Podlaskie Voivodeship, in Poland.

Supraśl located on the Supraśla River, in the Białystok Plateau, and is surrounded by the Knyszyńska Forest, the history of Supraśl is connected with the river. The Supraśl water system was created by monks by building a canal, dikes and a mill pond.
Thanks to the city’s ecological values, air purity, lack of industrial centers, microclimate and rich mud deposits located near Supraśl, in 1999 Supraśl obtained the status of a health resort, The excellent location in the Knyszyńska Forest, numerous bicycle, hiking and even horse riding trails, and the possibility of organizing kayaking trips will guarantee time well spent.

  • Top sights in Supraśl :  In Supraśl there is a former Protestant church with a cemetery and the palace of the Buchholtz family, which was rebuilt in 1903 in the neo-Renaissance style. / People’s House – currently a cinema and concert hall.  / Buchholtz Palace – currently the seat of the Art High School. Artur Grottger in Supraśl. An Art Nouveau palace, the seat of one of the most famous families of Supraśl factory owners, built in 1892–1903. / Suprasl Annunciation Monastery is an architectural complex of the 16th-20th centuries, including the Annunciation Church (1505-1510, destroyed in 1944, restored in 1999), the Church of St. John the Evangelist (19th century, restored in 1958), the chambers of the archimandrites (17th century, restored ). / Roman Catholic parish church of the Holy Trinity – neo-baroque, built in 1861–1865. / Evangelical-Augsburg church – neo-Gothic, dating from 1870. It currently serves as a church / The cemetery chapel complex. All Saints, consisting of a brick tower from the early 18th century / Evangelical cemetery (currently Roman Catholic) / Gardener’s House (Stara Inn, Stara Poczta) – currently a residential house, ul. Konarskiego 3. A wooden house with a hipped roof, built in the 18th/19th century. /  Zachert Manor – a classicist manor house with a columned portico, built in the mid-19th century / Jansen factory complex – current canteen and dormitory of the Art High School./ Chapel of St. George the Victorious at the Orthodox cemetery in Podsupraśl – brick, built in 1901. /  Wooden weavers’ houses (19th century).
