Garenin is a farmstead on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides archipelago ,in Scotland in United Kingdom.
This once abandoned coastal farming village is located in a secluded cove in Carloway, on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis ,on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
Today the village is famous for the Blackhouse Village complex, which includes 9 restored traditional Scottish houses, the village has a café, a museum and a small souvenir shop.
